Brandon Marshall has a checkered past full of assault arrests, domestic abuse charges, and driving under the influence. The turning point came when Brandon was stabbed by his wife Michi in 2011. While recovering in the hospital after surgery Marshall was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and began receiving treatment for his condition. Now Marshall is one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL. To raise more awareness about mental health issues Marshall signed his three-year, $30 million extension with the Bears on The View so he could also announce a $1 million donation to mental health care.
