Granger Smith Featuring Earl Dibbles Jr. visits El Paso

Ricky D's

Born in Dallas, Granger Smith picked up guitar as a teenager. After catching the attention of the songwriting industry, Granger Smith moved to Nashville. He released his debut album in 1998, spending over a decade cultivating his fan base on his own label. In 2013 he released Dirt Road Highway, his first album to hit the charts. His tunes have become the anthem of modern country. He's performed at the White House, played for US troops overseas, and landed on the country charts. His singles "Backroad Song" and "If the Boot Fits" have ridden the country radio airwaves, spreading Granger Smith's sound all over the country. But Granger Smith puts a twist on the good ol' country boy persona with his comedic alter ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr., a caricature of stereotypical red necks.
