Catholic School Covers Statue For Being Too "Suggestive"

A Catholic school in Australia proudly unveiled a new statue, only to have to cover it up and send it to be fixed because it is "potentially suggestive."

It's a sculpture of St. Martin de Porres handing a loaf of bread to a young boy, but for anyone with a dirty mind it looks like something else could be going on.

The school's principal explained that the plans for the statue, which was created by an artist in Vietnam, looked great on paper, but when viewed in three dimensions, there were issues with the piece.

The school has apologized and a local sculptor is re-designing the statue.
