23 Family Members Removed From Cruise After Multiple Instances Of Fighting

A large family was removed from a Carnival cruise in the South Pacific after they tormented other passengers and were involved in a massive brawl that left dozens of people injured. According to 9News, Carnival Legend was forced to make a stop in Eden in New South Wales, Australia to remove six men and three teenage boys from the ship along with 14 other women and children who were said to be traveling with the men.

The large family had been attacking passengers and causing problems the entire voyage. 3AW has multiple videos showing the group of men harassing and threatening passengers, which was dubbed the "cruise from hell." The aggressive family threatened to stab and throw people overboard over the smallest of transgressions.

The final straw was a massive brawl started by the family. It happened late at night and quickly devolved into a "bloodbath" with over 30 people fighting as security tried to intervene.

Security locked members of the family in their rooms until the ship docked at the port of Eden where the family was removed from the boat.

Carnival said the incidents were the result of one family and are "initiating a full internal investigation into what occurred."

"These events are completely isolated to this family group and out of character with the on-board experience on-board Carnival Legend. We are also initiating a full internal investigation into what occurred."

After the family was removed, the cruise continued on its 10-day trip around the South Pacific.
