Vanessa Guillen's Family Demands Congressional Investigation

The family of a soldier who disappeared from Fort Hood is calling for a congressional investigation.

Attorney Natalie Khawam told reporters in Washington, DC it was important to find out if there was a cover up into Private First Class Vanessa Guillen's disappearance while also demanding transparency. She also called for a new federal agency to investigate sexual harassment claims in the military.

Guillen's family has said she was sexually harassed at Fort Hood in Texas and didn't feel safe.

The family believes Guillen's body was discovered yesterday in Bell County. An official confirmation has not been made. Guillen vanished in April from Fort Hood.
