President Trump Posts Full '60 Minutes' Interview That He Walked Out Of

President Donald Trump released the unedited 60 Minutes interview that was taped earlier in the week. President Trump walked out of the interview after a series of testy exchanges with journalist Lesley Stahl.

The unedited clip featured Trump and Stahl sparring over questions, with Stahl pointing out inaccuracies with President Trump's answers. Earlier in the week, 60 Minutes released a clip in which Trump boasted about the economy.

"It was happening. We created the greatest economy in the history of our country. And the other side was coming in--," Trump said.
"You know that's not true," Stahl interrupted.
"It is totally true," Trump responded.
"No," Stahl said.
Trump continued: "Virtually every number was the best. We had the best economy ever. And what was happening is things were coming together."

The two also clashed over the media's lack of coverage about Hunter Biden's business dealings and told Stahl she "discredited herself." Stahl told him the claims have been not verified and were discredited by Republican committees in the Senate.

President Trump also took issue with Stahl's characterization that he was begging suburban women to vote for him.

"You said the other day to suburban women, will you please like me?" Stahl said.
"Oh, I didn't say that. You know that is so misleading the way you said it. I say jokingly, suburban women, you should love me because I'm giving you security, and I got rid of the worst regulation," Trump replied.
"See, the way you said that is why people think of you and everyone else as fake news," Trump continued. "I said that in a joking way. The way you have, it is like I'm begging."

After nearly 40 minutes, President Trump had enough and abruptly ended the interview. He did not participate in a planned joint interview with Vice President Mike Pence.

The full interview was scheduled to air this weekend, and CBS News blasted the White House for releasing the video.

"The White House's unprecedented decision to disregard their agreement with CBS News and release their footage will not deter 60 Minutes from providing its full, fair and contextual reporting which presidents have participated in for decades," CBS News said in a statement. "60 Minutes, the most-watched news program on television, is widely respected for bringing its hallmark fairness, deep reporting, and informative context to viewers each week. Few journalists have the presidential interview experience Lesley Stahl has delivered over her decades as one of the premier correspondents in America, and we look forward to audiences seeing her third interview with President Trump and subsequent interview with Vice President Pence this weekend," the statement read.
