George Clooney's Scooter Crash In Italy Caught On Shocking Video

Video of George Clooney's nasty scooter crash on the Italian island of Sardinia has emerged on the blogosphere and it shows just how scary the incident was for the Hollywood titan.

In shocking security camera footage, which was obtained by Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, the 57-year-old is seen riding his scooter on the road on Tuesday (July 10), before colliding head-on with a car. Because of the impact, Clooney was tossed into the air and landed on the pavement. After the accident, he was taken to the ER of John Paul II Hospital and underwent an MRI. He reportedly experienced "a slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one leg and an arm," as per La Nuova Sardegna.

La Nuova Sardegna also reported that Clooney was heading to a film set for his Hulu limited series, Catch 22, when the accident occurred at a curve in the road near the entrance to a Costa Corallina residential compound in Olbia. Thankfully, a rep for Clooney told PEOPLE that the actor "was treated and released from an Olbia hospital." He is currently "recovering at home and will be fine." Clooney's wife, Amal, rushed to the hospital but left with the actor in a private car given his stable condition.
