Lovelytheband Announces Full Band Livestream Concert

Lovelytheband released their sophomore album Conversations With Myself About You on Friday (August 28), and usually that would come with a subsequent tour to share new tracks with fans live. Obviously that won't be happening for this record, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that's not stopping the trio from celebrating. On Monday (August 31), they announced a special livestream concert that will be filmed at The Roxy in Los Angeles.

"we’re bringing it back to the roxy where it all started for a one night only full band livestream event. tickets on sale now at http://lovelytheband.nocapshows.com" they wrote.

Tickets are $15. The show will stream live at 5pm PST / 8pm EST; however, later time slots are available for fans who are unable to make it at that time. Get more ticket info here and see the band's announcement below.

Aside from the new album, lovelytheband was also featured in Selena Gomez and David Henrie's new movie, This Is The Year, which also came out on Friday. Henrie gushed about the band in a recent interview with EW, when asked why he thought they were the right fit.

"I was a fan of them, and I knew I needed a song for the film that could carry the end of the movie," the director explained. "When I listened to their song 'Maybe, I'm Afraid' while reading the end of the script, it made perfect sense to me and I knew that it had to be the end of the film. I did everything in my power to try to get them involved, and I pitched their managers and I pitched their team. They really felt that it was a good fit for all of us, with their demographic and the demographic of the film that we're going for. And it just so happens coincidentally that the guitarist's father created Wizards of Waverly Place."
