Stash House Shut Down In South Texas

Customs and Border Protection says dozens of migrants were taken into custody after a south Texas stash house was shut down. The Border Patrol and local authorities in Laredo found 87 people in the house last Thursday. They were from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico, and were determined to be in the country illegally. The agency says everybody was medically screened because of a lack of personal protective equipment. Officials noted the pandemic hasn't deterred the smuggling and housing of large groups.
