Arch Manning Shines In Texas Win Over UTSA

The Texas Longhorns defeated the UTSA Roadrunners 56-7 in a game that saw quarterback Quinn Ewers leave the game in the second quarter with an injury. Coaches would later say Ewers had suffered a strained abdomen.

Arch Manning came off the bench to throw for 223 yards and four touchdowns, rushing for another to help the Longhorns (3-0) post 614 total yards, including 427 passing.

Ryan Wingo had a game-high 127 receiving yards and Isaiah Bond added 103.

Robert Henry Jr. rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown and Martavius French had a team-high seven tackles for UTSA.

Texas (3-0) will host Louisiana-Monroe (2-0) next Saturday, Sept. 21. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

UTSA (1-2) will return home to host Houston Christian (1-2) next Saturday, Sept. 21. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Alamodome.
